Wow, where to start?
Firstly, no one ever gets enough traffic, that is a given.
Traffic comes basically in 3 different ways.
1. Paid
2. Free
3. Viral
When looking at paid traffic sources, the first one that comes to mind is PPC (Pay Per Click). The leader in search engine traffic is Google, by a long shot. There are many other search engines which receive a bunch of traffic, but if you can master the art of advertising on google adwords and making a profit, you are better than most marketers. I have made a ton of money with google in the past, but it does not appear to be so easy and so straight forward ....which is where you can pay for courses, membership sites, or a coach who will help you all the way. The free videos alone are worth a visit.
Free comes in all shapes and forms, writing articles, press releases, twitter, youtube, Back Page (Automate your postings with this tool), craigslist, podcasts, forums....etc
Whichever method you choose, you should maintain a level of activity to prove to your audience you are for real and not a fly by night. Repetition makes perfect and will build your list.
Viral. When others like what they see, they will share it. Some of the social netowrking sites include: Digg, Technorati, Facebook, Twitter but there are so many more. We have heard it all...
Bad news travels further and faster, and no news is good news.
Negative advertising works? Or does it?
So which one is true?
I decided to post a whole bunch of ads, to see once and for all, which ads had the most opens and then the most clicks, leading to the most optins. Would the "Bad News", negative ads out produce the "Good News", positive feeling ads? All the popular reasoning would point to that direction.
Well after 400 ads a piece, the conclusion my little experiment came to, was that actually the good news, feel-good, postively spun ads actually did a tad better than their negative counterparts, both in opens, clicks and optins.
But the real news is, that the ads who mentioned MONEY, $ amounts, and incomes, out performed both good and bad news subject lines by a lot. The number of clicks leading to verified optins more than tripled over the other two groups. However, the more "real" and attainable the potential incomes were, the better the results.
Maybe that result was to be expected in today's economy.
This was not a scientifically held experiment, just my findings after 1200 ads, but for me at least, I will continue using headlines which work, for me.

What is a Feeder Program?

Are All Your Egggs In One Basket?
Hello
with the economy on shakey ground, a lot can be said about NOT placing all your eggs in one basket.
Dallas where I live, has taken steps since the 1980's when it was heavily hit with the savings and loan scandals. It now is a hub for finances, arts, telecom, small business, manufacture and a lot more. It is difficult to say what Dallas does not have a market share in.
Should your home based business be doing the same?
I learned the hard way, when I thought I needed to do one thing and do it really well. When the company I worked for became no longer viable I was without income for a few months, and did not know what to do with myself.
I now market a few products, from hands off automated systems, to higher ticket items and my own products and a number in between.
My checks come from a variety of sources, so if one dissolves or is slower at paying, the others will make up for the slack.
It has taken me years to come to this point in my online marketing career, but you do not have to take all the losses and long learning curve as I did.

The travel consumer market is larger than the home based travel business market. Over $7 trillion dollars per year is reportedly being spent on travel and the number is expected to increase every year.
It appears that the majority of home based travel business owners spend the majority of their marketing efforts targeting potential home based business prospects, many of whom may not even have an interest in travel.
It is not the easiest task to market a product you have not fallen in love with, use on a regular basis or have an interest in.
The idea is not so novel, but by preaching to the choir you have a captive audience.
